A breakdown in one part of a system is the beginning of the breakdown in the whole system.
A dam springs a leak and immediately beaver fetches a fresh branch from a bystander to repair it because the beaver’s home amidst the stream or riverway is made from trees and branches. Beaver has no concept of what patches are.
Leaks are an indication of a weak link. Weak links are points in a system that demands the most intense scrutiny because the “whole” is most susceptible at its weakest point.
Any system can only function maximally when its output comes at no cost or loss of efficiency from any of its contributing parts.
It’s all about the degree of our perception: On how we see things, our self-worth.
Living replacements and efforts make for lasting well-being. Or else quick-fix, the temporary artificial band–aid–patches, only produce ongoing anxiety and problems!
Just ask Beaver…
